VH1 Divas will be airing on VH1 on Monday, December 19 at 9 p.m. ET/8 CT, and will feature a performance by the legendary Mavis Staples along with Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Florence + The Machine, Motown legend Anita Baker, rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson and more. The show honors the soulful cities that inspired the divas and their art. The cities honored include: Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia and Staples’ own hometown of Chicago.
